Sokar Uno (DE)
SOKAR UNO
„The Good Man of Freedom”
Berlin-based artist SOKAR UNO uses his piece to portray the human process of waking and liberation. The work of art is like a quiet dialogue unfolding between two personalities. One of them is freedom-seeking human being, while the other is a deity of the universe, supportive of the human in its awakening. Not only does this deity provide moral support, it also teaches the human to use its new-found freedom wisely. The Open Gallery is grateful to the iconic organisation Street Art Berlin and the Goethe Institute in Vilnius, who helped to introduce this internationally-known street artist to the event.
